Technology in context.

I am an enterprise technology professional focused on the systems, data, integrations, and operational practices that help organizations function.

My work sits between technical implementation and organizational reality. I administer applications, troubleshoot production problems, work with data, coordinate integrations and upgrades, communicate with stakeholders, and help turn ambiguous operational needs into durable technical solutions.

A distinctive background

What distinguishes my background is that I arrived in enterprise technology after more than a decade of owning and operating a small business. I have experienced technology not only as an administrator or developer, but as an owner responsible for customers, employees, vendors, budgets, products, security, and day-to-day operations.

Current work

I work in a complex university technology environment supporting enterprise applications and reporting systems used across facilities operations, planning and construction, environmental health and safety, finance-related processes, and other institutional functions.

My responsibilities span application administration, configuration, production support, security and access, upgrades, testing, vendor coordination, reporting, integration work, documentation, and customer communication. I enjoy finding connections across these layers and helping people arrive at solutions that are technically sound and operationally practical.

Small-business experience

For more than a decade, I co-owned and operated College Planning Partnerships, a service-oriented education business. I managed technology strategy and an application portfolio spanning websites, communications, scheduling, payments, customer systems, internal tools, hosting, staff access, vendors, and application support.

I also helped design and deliver custom software and internal CRM, learning-management, communication, scheduling, and workflow tools. Operating a business taught me that a good solution must account for cost, adoption, training, reliability, maintainability, customer experience, and the capacity of the people who will own it after launch.

How I work

I tend to be most effective when a technical problem is entangled with an operational one; when a legacy process needs to become more reliable; when data exists but is difficult to access or trust; or when emerging technology needs to be evaluated with curiosity and restraint.

Leadership and community

I have hired and trained employees, directed vendors and contractors, coordinated cross-functional projects, supervised student work, presented technical topics to colleagues, and helped peers explore modern reporting, automation, and AI-assisted workflows.

I serve on the board of the Welles-Turner Memorial Library Second Century Fund. I also founded and directed the Clarks Trail Run, an annual charity event supporting education and land-conservation awareness.

Beyond work

I live in Glastonbury, Connecticut, with my family. Outside of professional work, I am interested in cooking, sport, local history, self-hosted technology, community institutions, and building useful things.
